Loved visiting Burleigh House. The gardens are not too big to explore in one day and great for kids too (adventure play area,). The house is a must see if you love paintings. The heaven room and hell staircase is impressive!

A beautiful house. Every guide in each room thoroughly enjoyed sharing their knowledge. It was a very visit. We had a warm cheese scone...very nice in The Orangery. I wouldn't have said the artisan bread was artisan! We had a lovely walk round the stunning gardens but it was too hot...32 degrees. So, we'll be back to do another visit.

Burghley House is lovely. I had a really nice time walking round the house and gardens, having a coffee in the orangery and popping into the shops. The grounds are just gorgeous and you can really spend a good amount of time here.

Fabulous place to visit, great for families the grounds and car park were free so you can picnic and walk dogs play football, brilliant. The interior is incredibly impressive, especially the Tudor kitchens. The gardens are extensive and very innovative. We ate at the cafe/ restaurant, sitting in the lovely garden.

Burghley House is beautiful, massive, and lavish. Pro tip: Buy the "Burghley: A Guide to the Paintings" before you go in. Every art piece is numbered, and the guide gives you the full backstory for each. There's a nice cafe, a small museum, and clean bathrooms. There's a park connected to the estate—I heard it’s a must-see, but I missed it due to rain. Prepare to take lots of photos; this is a whole day event.
