Today was terrible. We took a taxi there and there was traffic as a Saturday would be. That’s okay, the website gives a slot to book a time and we booked 1300 got there at 1309. I walked up and a guy named Ray was already seemingly irritated at us. It was 2 of us so a pretty quick 3 games that was £44 pounds. £44 pounds is quite a bit of money. I usually know my size but I got a size have too big and my wife had gotten my typical size. I go to walk to the counter and he had already had a smug look on his face (Ray) and just pushed the shoes towards me and walking away. I say okay, maybe he’s stressed out, it’s busy I get it. After the first and second game my wife and I step outside to go for a maybe 2-3 minute smoke break. Like I said just the 2 of us so a quick bowl. A family shows up and the mother comes up to me as we were starting our 3rd game and said in a very cross way “my kids are here for a party and I booked these lanes so you need to hurry up or leave” Ray comes over and asks us to leave and take a voucher to come back. I said sure if she would politely apologise for speaking to us that way. She didn’t so we stayed and bowled the 3rd game as quickly as possible. I wanted to stay but my wife refused and said we need to go and we would never be coming back here. I stopped to speak to Ray and he told me very forward he had already been on the phone with the owner and the “owner is not happy about you”. How do you book online for a slot expecting to stay, have drinks, enjoy your time bowling and a beautiful Saturday in a place like this? I will never ever be back and I will tell everyone there are much better places. This put a whole sour mood on a day we planned on having a really nice time.

Lovely place and atmosphere, great customer service and food, superb bar area and decor. What a pleasant surprise 👏💖👏I'll definitely recommend to everybody 👍 Only criticism, I found the bowling lanes super dark. (Lanes pic was taken before closing, when they turned the lights on). Something in between would work better, not too dark, not too bright.
