Nicely kept, good condition wee playpark. Grass is cut, and the playground is clean and tidy. There are no bins around for dog waste, as they have all been removed by Edinburgh Council.

You don’t get a sense of how big the park is unless you walk inside it. The park boasts of everything that you might want of a park . It’s got slides, 3 swings , jump pit, seesaw. It has also got big enough green space for you take a walk, walk your dog or exercise. The park is never crowded and everyone gets enough time to play on all of the equipment.

Buttercup Farm park is a nice, modern playpark with several activities for different age ranges. There is a large frame for older children, with climbing ropes and wall, slides, a little trampoline; all the usual. Plus there is a separate fenced off area for smaller kids, which has less activities to be fair, but still incudes swings, a spring rider and a slide, plus picnic benches if you wish to have a seat and something to eat. Just don't expect toddlers to be content in the little park when they are at that age where they want to jump into the older kids activities when they aren't really old or big enough yet!
