So cute! Small little reserve with uphill paths of dirt/wooden stair. Couple benches here and there including near Lewis's swimming pond. Get ready to be whisked into another little world in here

A peaceful, reflective spot that’s well worth a visit—especially knowing that C.S. Lewis walked these paths almost daily. The nature reserve next to The Kilns is quiet and uncrowded, offering a serene break from the city and a chance to walk where Lewis found inspiration. It’s free to enter, and while parking is very limited, the stillness and sense of history make it a meaningful stop. For fans of Lewis or anyone in need of a quiet moment, this place is a hidden treasure.

A former portion of the Kilns estate, Lewis would often walk here. The pond is said to have inspired the tossing of the rings into the pools in The Magician’s Nephew.

Beautiful place for a really nice walk. Unspoilt country surroundings, hidden lake, very quiet. Just a nice restful place.

Beautiful pond with a nice walk through the surrounding trees, a few well located places to sit. The path does have steps and is unlikely to be suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs. Note that there's no parking and the entrance is by way of a short pathway that leads off a residential cul-de-sac.
