Proper little gem of a place. Step back in time and learn about the area.... fab coffee shop too!!!!
Great place for everyone. There's fenced play park for kids. Cafe with food, toilets, dog wash station, bike repair station. Many paths for walk, jog or bike ride including MTB track. Big car park free of charge.
Beautiful park. Nice walks, perfect spots for picnic, run, walk, cycle. There are public toilets, play park, food trucks, and cafe at the Callendar House, which is free to visit. Plenty benches and places to chill.
Great place for all ages. Something for everyone. Kids playground (really busy during school holidays). We had coffee and ice cream at the cafe. My granddaughter spotted the bouncy castle. Tickets available at cafe to purchase. Bit expensive, £5 for 15 mins. I was glad I only had one child with me. Lovely waking trails, which we decided to do. Then, we took a walk into Fakirk for lunch.
Wonderful park, with many paths taking you to either the town centre, the Calendar House, or the Kelpies, via a lovely loch. There is a fairly big playground, and a couple of other spots for children (and those not so young) to have some fun activities. You can find several benches, and picnic tables, at least on one side of the lake. I liked, especially, that for a sunny Saturday, it wasn't too crowded when I went there.
