A very beautiful place right in the middle of town. I enjoyed the peaceful nature and such wide spaces. It was a very hot day but the beautiful trees provided a hot summer shade and I loved the seats that were everywhere.

Always a pleasant family recreational park dating back to the 1800s with gardens and walks with a traditional affordable cafe in the pavillion most days. Safe for children with a modern playground and fenced toddler park. Tennis and basketball courts available to hire. Near to shops, transport and a nasty public toilet facility. Local history is fantastic close to The Pantiles Georgian Terrace for the Dandies and Spa patrons. Reputed to be haunted by the spirit of Beau Nash. Young Queen Victoria alleged to have lived nearby before she was crowned adjacent to the Pantiles.

This park is a true gem, offering a peaceful and picturesque setting. It is well-maintained and provides a great place to relax and take in the beauty of nature. We had our wedding photos taken here, and the stunning surroundings served as the perfect backdrop. We also loved seeing all the playful squirrels running around the park.

Community grounds which is brilliant for soaking up some sun and relaxing. For those with kids there is a really nice playground with a coffee shop next to it. There is also a well kept outdoor gym, tennis courts and basketball courts so it's perfect for spending a few hours whether you just want to relax or get some physical activity in.
