Worth the price! Definitely one of the most stunning cathedral I’ve ever visited in Europe! It’s definitely the best cathedral in UK I’ve visited tho. So many to see so huge and so beautiful!!! Sitting inside and thinking how did people in the past build this extraordinary cathedral 😭

Visited during Christmas market. It's stunning piece of art! I recommend this place to anyone who may need some inspiration or just wants to sit down and enjoy the quiet (yes there are quiet spaces in there, too) & the art/architecture.

It was a lovely experience in British Christian history. I recommend the tours, very very informative and amazing value for money. Also it supports their restoration work so that's a plus. The entry ticket is valid for 1 whole year. I have used it 2 times already. It does get a bit crowded on weekends, however, it didnt seem very clustered or claustrophobic. The architecture is worth noticing with a mix of old and new Gothic designs. The stain glass windows ate amazing, some dating back to 11th Century and the stories they tell are intriguing too.

The craftsmanship is extraordinary and the sense of history is everywhere you look. Of course, this is also the site of one of the most famous moments in English history — the murder of Thomas Becket in 1170, an event that transformed Canterbury into one of the great pilgrimage destinations of medieval Europe. Architecturally it’s stunning — layers of Romanesque and Gothic design built and expanded over centuries. The nave alone is vast and incredibly impressive. If you are anywhere near Kent, this is absolutely worth visiting. The history, atmosphere and architecture make it one of the most remarkable historic buildings in Britain.
