We had an amazing punting tour with Marcus (the one with the moustache)! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience so enjoyable. The trip was incredibly peaceful, and the scenery was absolutely beautiful. It was the perfect way to experience Canterbury from the water. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the city!

What a boat-load of fun! My partner and I have lived in Canterbury for the past five years, and somehow this was our first time doing the Canterbury punting tour — we can’t believe we waited so long. It gave us a completely different perspective on the city we thought we already knew so well. We were lucky enough to have Sebastian (the one with the Mohawk!) as our guide, and he absolutely made the experience. He was hilarious, incredibly knowledgeable, and somehow managed to blend fascinating local history, facts about the wildlife along the river, and even Jurassic Park trivia into one brilliant tour. Whether you’re visiting Canterbury for the first time or have lived here for years like us, this is an experience I’d wholeheartedly recommend. Thanks Sebastian for making it such a memorable trip!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Canterbury Punting Co, made even better by our brilliant guide, Anthony. He was engaging, knowledgeable, and had such a great way of bringing the tour to life for both adults and children. Anthony shared fascinating stories about the river, the historic trading that once took place there, local history, and legends—from the tale of Troy and the beautiful Helen, to St Francis of Assisi. He also had everyone laughing with his stories about the giant spiders! He made the whole journey fun, interesting, and memorable. We went with our kids and friends, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. It was the perfect mix of history, humour, and beautiful scenery. Absolutely fantastic!!! An absolute Must do!!! 💯❣️👌🎉 Start with a chill time in the pub while waiting for your punter. And then enjoy your 45 min tour: more than delightful, quite interesting and positively funny thanks to our one and only guide, the sole and unique... Josh!!! 😜😁 For people who may be afraid of being seasick, do not worry : you're not in the middle of a storm on the seven seas, it's just a very quiet and lovely visit on a very gentle river. ☺️
