Lovely walk with the dogs, some lovely little spots where they could get in & have a little splash, some nice shady areas as well. Ducks & swans are used to visitors so they come to the steps so the kids can feed them. Have taken a star off as the cafe is quite expensive & shuts early. It'd be nice if there was a 'vending machine' to purchase the duck food when the cafe is closed so we can still walk the dogs when its cooler and the kids can still feed the ducks the appropriate feed.
Mixed experience: parking was free here few years back before Covid when w lived in Medway now £2.90 for 9 hours?? Nothing less nothing more what a weird system by ringo parking app. Other than that perfect nature ponds birds fresh air cafe which closes early make sure to bring disabled key to access toilets after opening hours incase you have children or elderly gates can close after 8pm and your car can be locked in by Medway council security so be aware they won’t help or no emergency number to get out will have to wait until next day to get car out when gates open…
It's a nice park, although poorly marked with trails, visited for the first time on a cloudy day, so will look forward how it is during spring and summer. £2.40 car park fee for the day so not bad. There is a lake with swans, nice paths, good playground for kids suitable from toddler to older kids and with some benches, spacious car park, they advertise it as bicycle suitable. But. If you have a bike rack on the roof of your car you will not be able to get to the main car park as there are headroom barriers 🫣🤦♀️ didn't see any signs for suitable car park when coming with bikes. So please correct me if I'm wrong. Overall clean but saw some spots where people throw dog poobags.
Beautiful place with lovely walks all around the park. They are well signposted so easy to follow. Ample car parking and great views. Highly recommend.
It’s a lovely little country park to visit. Plenty of facilities, toilets baby change and also a cafe which is open all year round. It’s a lovely walk around the lakes. You can buy bird food from the cafe for £1 a bag and the ducks will eat from your hands. The children’s play area has lots of activities to do, swings, zip line, climbing frame etc. You can also buy day tickets to fish here during the fishing season.
