A very nice area to sit and relax. The gardens are very nice but have went back these last few years. The boats on the river have been around for years and are still very busy. John who looks after them is helpful and friendly.

Amazing place. Best get there for about 10am for parking and places around the splash pool. Very good value for food and drinks. Also, free parking!

Lovely large park with gardens, woodland walk, riverside walk, and a small castle nestled up the hill. There is a kids play area, pavillion and cafe. The public toilets are only open during the summer season. Plenty of free parking locally, disc system in operation. Can easily spend a couple hours walking round the whole place.

Lovely well maintained dog friendly park situated on the banks or the river Wansbeck in the town of Morpeth. Great place for families, great play area for children, plenty of paths, woods to explore with your dogs. Bowls green, tennis & plenty of room for ball games. Pavilion café with indoor & out door seating serving hot/cold drinks & various snacks or plenty of seating around to have a picnic.

Carlisle Park is impressively well maintained and a relaxing place to walk or sit on a nice day. The statue and story behind Emily Wilde Davidson was particularly nice. There is also a great play area for kids with a cafe next door, which is amazing in the summer, but can be extremely busy on occasion.
