Lovely little play area and large field. The kids loved it. Took a picnic.

If you want to take your kids to maybe fly a kite, play football, go for a run around or throw a rugby ball then this is a good clean park that seemingly is quite well looked after. You will have access to a few swings and kids play equipment but there isn't that much for them to do if you don't take something else with you to entertain them as well. There is a bowling green and tennis concrete tennis courts so like us you could take a bat and ball with you. I think the key for the tennis courts is held by the bowling club so you may have to ask to use it. Ps... There are teenagers in the park but in fairness I am sure most teens have been going to parks for years so it's not a massive deal. They aren't all bad you know. I am sure if you ask politely most will move off the play equipment.

Quite a good selection of swings and equipment for little ones to play on. It's a shame that today they were mostly being occupied by teenagers talking and having a date day. I literally had to stand and stare them down to move so my kiddies could use the slide and the swing.

Nice clean open space, good for dog walking. Car park is flat and disability friendly as is most of the park (some gentle slopes but everything is accessible). Tennis courts, bowling green and kids play area are all well maintained and there are a number of benches and picnic tables throughout the area.

Play area not great on a wet day for little ones, definitely wellies needed as it gets pretty muddy. Will visits again when it dries out a bit.
