Carshalton Park is the kind of place that makes suburban London feel properly lived-in — no fancy gates or hype, just decent open space, some seriously old trees, and the gentle buzz of locals actually using their park 🌳🏡 Tucked off the High Street, it’s perfect for when you want to stretch your legs after a roam around the village or just plonk down with a book and ignore the world for an hour 📚☀️ It never feels manic, even on weekends; you’ll get dog walkers nodding hello, kids on bikes, and maybe a casual kickabout on the grass 🐕⚽ The ponds down by The Grove are basically next door too, so you can string together a nice little wander past the water and feel like you’ve had a proper countryside escape without leaving Zone 5 👣💧 Honestly, it’s just a really solid, unpretentious bit of green — the sort of understated local gem that keeps a neighbourhood sane 🌿💚

Lovely park with lots to do. Well kept and a great place for families with children. There was an event happening and hundreds of people attending. Is worth a visit. They have sports fields and closed areas for other sports to be practiced.

This place is lovely, it seemed so quiet and has so much history and its brilliant especially for people to cycle on! There is a lovely lake and all sorts of up hills and down hills and I can only imagine how much fun it will be when I bring my bike down here! So much fun here and there is quite a big playground too so no way will the kids get bored here! I defo recommend this place to visit if you live nearby or want to get to know the area

This is a lovely gated park, perfect for dog walking. It does get quite muddy at the entrances, and there aren't paved paths from a lol the entrances, so recommend wellies or old shoes if it's been raining. There are a couple of seriously big dips in the park, so watch out if walking in the dark. There's a kids play area, and outdoor gym, and tennis courts.

This is a very lovely little local park, which is hardly crowded. There is an area for children to play, there are a few tennis courts, there are exercise machines and plenty of benches to sit down. This park has very old and beautiful trees and it’s surrounded by an old perimeter wall with a nice Victorian fence and gates all around. Definitely a nice place to spend a few hours in peace.
