We love this nature reserve, easy parking right in front of the main hide and lovely walks around the reserve to the other bird hides. Plenty of butterfly and dragonfly species within the area. For the butterflies and dragonflies, we would recommend the straight footpath to the second hide, viewable from the main hide.

Lovely place. Hides are easily accessible. Reasonably sized car parks. Easy to find. Plenty of wildlife to see in peaceful, scenic surroundings. Just note the reserve does not have toilets on site. There is no charge for entry to the reserve.

Absolutely ideal for people with mobility issues as one of the hides has a car park right next to it. Currently Glossy Ibis there which is a bonus

This is my favourite nature reserve! So much to see from the giant cattle to the shy slow worms. So many insects, spiders and dragonflies living amongst the tall grasses and wild flowers. Even newts and tadpoles in the pond area.

A wild landscape on the Somerset levels, flooded in winter and large numbers of ducks and lapwings etc visible from the hides. The main hide has wheelchair access and adjacent parking
