A beautiful cathedral, inside and out. The peaceful atmosphere made it a lovely place to sit for a while, reflect, and feel grateful to be there. One of my favourite places in Belfast.

A Beautiful and Peaceful Place in the Heart of Belfast St Anne’s Cathedral was one of the highlights of our visit to Belfast. The architecture is absolutely stunning, both inside and out, with beautiful stained glass windows, impressive stonework, and a wonderful sense of history. The atmosphere inside is incredibly peaceful and welcoming. We took a moment to light a candle, say a prayer for our family, and give thanks for being able to travel and experience such amazing places. It was a very special and meaningful moment for us. The cathedral is well maintained, the staff and volunteers were friendly, and there is plenty to admire as you walk around. Whether you’re interested in history, architecture, or simply looking for a quiet place to reflect, St Anne’s Cathedral is well worth a visit. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Belfast. ❤️

I was wandering through the city around 1:00 AM on a Thursday, just looking for a spot that was still open, when I ended up in a long conversation with a local couple on a bench. As we were talking, I looked up and saw this massive, glowing arch behind them. Coming from New York, it immediately reminded me of the arch in Washington Square Park, though this one is the entrance to the incredible Belfast Cathedral (St. Anne's). Even in the middle of the night, the way the building and the Spire of Hope are lit up is stunning—it gives the whole area a high-end, historic feel that makes you want to stop and just take it in. I didn't head inside, but as someone who appreciates great urban design and a solid 'aesthetic,' this building is a 10/10. It’s one of those sights that makes a midnight walk through the city worth the effort."

Great Cathedral row walk around. Even though it's relatively new in terms of other Cathedrals we have visited it's still got a very interesting background. Small entrance fee and the self-guided tour is easy to navigate with information available in the provided leaflet and along the route.
