A scenic family park beneath the Wallace Monument featuring adventure playground, water play, woodland walks and picnic areas.

Causewayhead Park offers a wonderful blend of natural beauty and modern play facilities with the iconic Wallace Monument as a stunning backdrop. Children can zip down the flying fox, climb frames, dig in the sandy play area, or pump water through cobble-lined channels to create their own miniature river. During warmer months, the stone paddling pool provides cooling fun for little ones. A half-mile woodland walk winds through wildlife gardens, while wheelchair-accessible swings ensure all children can join in. Ample picnic tables, seating areas and toilets make this an ideal destination for a relaxed family day outdoors.

The park was beautiful with a fantastic view of the Wallace Monument. We were there just for 10 minutes before we had to leave. There were some young people who were sitting on the picnic benches smoking (cannabis). This completely spoilt my visit to the park. I will hopefully go back again and this time be able to enjoy my visit without that pungent smell.

There is no car park just off street parking. It's not the biggest of parks but there is a lot of play equipment from zip slide, Climbing net, small football/backetball court etc. There is toilets located here. There are benches and picnic tables.
