It’s a lovely place where we take our dogs. Working cockers spaniels. There are 3 water troughs that, dogs if hot will jump in to. For some unknown reason the landowner has put a line of barbed wire directly across the water trough next to the Kings playing fields. Guess what happened!! My dog was hot so he jumped in to the trough and unfortunately ripped his skin on the ridiculously placed barbed wire. Several stitches later and a large vets bill. So. You who put the barbed wire there. Shame on you. Common sense really. Hot day hot dogs and water. They will jump in. Yes I am aware that it’s my responsibility and the owner can do what they like but really? It’s just plain irresponsible. My dog is in pain so thank you very much.
Large and crowded park, especially on weekends. At the beginning of the park, you can go down to the water and look at the huge swans. If you reach the end of the park, you will find a beautiful bridge through which you can cross to the other side of Worcester over the River Severn. It is advisable to come not at rush hour, otherwise there are really a lot of people
Love doing the circuit of the river and seeing the city from different angles
Beautiful little meadow with views of the Cathedral. From certain view points you could easily be back in the medieval times with modern buildings covered with greenery and just the steeples popping up over the trees.
Wocester is such a beautiful clean city, I'd certainly go back again. Outstanding area of natural beauty.😄
