This is a full day out. Arriving by bus from Bakewell, the view of the House is spectacular. I would call it a House but also the most packed out Art Museum I have walked around since going to the Palazzo Doria Pamphilj in Rome. The Gardens are vast and I especially liked the efforts to rewild part of the lawns. The garden is like an extension to the house, in that art pieces are dotted around them and so there's always something new to find. This is a national treasure and I am so glad we can see it.

The outside and gardens are absolutely gorgeous, however I think the entry fee is quite high, especially for how a lot of the house and outside is off limits and how the cascade does not work. Do not expect to see a greatly furnished inside similar to other castles or houses, it has gone through many generations and many changes which have made its insides very chaotic. Still, the gardens were amazing and the staff were incredibly nice.

This a great family day out. Farm, with opportunities to hold guinea pigs, feed the goats and see them being milked! A very large adventure playground suitable for young and older kids! Plenty of places to get treats and drinks. We really enjoyed the tractor tour, Nikki was amazing! The gardens were stunning. We e joyed the maze and the rocks. We had great weather to top it all off!

Today we visited Chatsworth House — it was one of the most impressive places we’ve been to in a long time. The kids were absolutely amazed, especially by the gardens: огромная территория, beautiful landscapes, water features, mazes, and so many places to explore for hours. We spent the whole day there and still didn’t want to leave. There are countless picturesque spots all around the estate — almost every few minutes you want to stop and take another photo. The atmosphere feels both cozy and majestic at the same time. It’s a perfect destination for a family trip: enjoyable for both adults and children. Chatsworth House is definitely worth visiting if you want to spend a day surrounded by nature, beauty, and history.

Simply stunning. Beautiful gardens and an even more grand house interior. You can feel the elegance and class in each room you visit. From grand portraits to murals on the walls and ceilings, and much more in between. Loved it. It can be expensive but if you claim universal credit you can visit for £1. Definitely recommend it
