Chavasse Park is a five-acre green open space at the heart of Liverpool ONE and the first designed inner city park built in Liverpool within the last hundred years. The park is thought to be the largest green roof in Europe and features a living green wall, making it a unique botanical destination. Home to 350 species and over 15,500 pollinator-friendly plants, the park boosts biodiversity in the city centre and has held the prestigious Green Flag Award since 2013. Families can enjoy a wide range of free activities throughout the year. The all-year-round free Nature Trail allows young explorers to discover wildlife and plants, while the Heritage Trail offers a self-guided audio tour exploring more than 300 years of Liverpool's history. The park regularly hosts diverse events from Dog Shows and Chess Festivals to sporting activities, ensuring something engaging for visitors of all ages. The park is surrounded by excellent amenities, with numerous restaurants and leisure attractions on the Leisure Terrace overlooking the park, including Wagamama, Zizzi, Las Iguanas, Flight Club, The Botanist, and Gravity MAX offering e-karting and bowling. With its combination of natural beauty, educational experiences, and convenient location within Liverpool ONE, Chavasse Park is ideal for families seeking free outdoor recreation with cultural enrichment.

Nicely located very near to the city centre. But it's medium sized park, not that massive. And worse thing is that there are no accessibile toilets.

Chavasse Park is a really nice open space right in the middle of Liverpool ONE. It’s great for just chilling on the grass for a bit, especially on a sunny day. You’ve got all the shops, cafes and restaurants around you, but the park itself still feels pretty laid-back. There’s loads of room to sit, people bring food, kids run around, and in the summer it has a really chilled vibe. At night it looks cool with all the lights from Liverpool ONE around it. Super easy to wander through on the way to Albert Dock or just take a break between shopping.
