A relaxing steam railway through the gentle countryside. Steam and diesel locomotive in use on our visit, ticket allows you to ride as many times as you like on the day. Good value catering at Chinnor station.

Wonderful, the staff were knowledgeable and friendly, taking time to interact. The cream tea was really good, the scones were fresh and the coffee good. Only downside is the length of the trip, however, we enjoyed the experience.

Today I attended day one of their 2026 Diesel Gala. It was very well organised and they put on an excellent timetable, providing a superb range of diesel locomotives on passenger trains and brake van rides. I will no doubt visit again.

A wonderful steam train experience. I've been on the steam train 3 times now at different times of the year, including the cream tea. Very well organised, the staff and volunteers are so full of enthusiasm that it's almost contagious - we all love a steam train! Nice journey through beautiful countryside, and the cream tea included delicious freshly made scones. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
