Very interesting day exploring the aquaduct and canal tunnel in such a beautiful area, I like our industrial heritage and the information signs along the way are very informative. Had a walk along the canal and a nice drink in one of the canalside pubs, glad we came!

Awesome adrenaline for kayaking and i did the 10 minute pitch black tunnel option, day 1 with dogs, day 2 with kayak (you really do need that whistle and the very strongest headtorch in the water). Like the aquaduct for dogs better than other as a wider path and mess between railing bars (unlike other one).

Beautiful area, it’s so calm and quiet, and you can walk for miles with many pubs on the path! Plenty of towns and shops as well, and churn castle only a small walk up the way from the canal for an added extra!

Fantastic stop off if you're kn the area. Steeped in history, and amazing views. We found it tricky to park, but found a little carpark about half a mile down the canal, it was a lovely walk from there to the viaduct.

Absolutely beautiful.We hired a canal boat,so much fun! But if you bring food for the pick nick,a full day for the family.Recommended with children,elderly.The canal,trees,beautiful flowers,the falling leaves,minimum once in a lifetime.
