A lovely green area by the river stour, with a bandstand. Easy to walk through the priory to town from here. There is an ice cream shop and a fish and chip shop nearby. You can also hire boats here.

Lovely relaxing spot in Christchurch, river walks, boat hire and ferries to Mudeford available

I only recently found this place and has quickly become one of my favourite places to visit. My partner and I love the cafe called The Old Tea Rooms. Such a lovely menu, prices are very good and is a very welcoming place to relax and have something to eat and drink. They also sell bags of bird seeds for the swans, ducks, etc. There's a riverboat taxi for relaxing enjoyable rides and you can even hire a motorboat for your own enjoyment. There's a lovely bandstand, kids park and plenty of green space for enjoying the peace and quiet and taking in the scenery. If you're very lucky, you might even see the odd seal or even a dolphin. What's not to love about it. Looking forward to spending many days this summer and the years ahead
