Great place to spend an afternoon indoor museum, out door planes, £3.50 extra for a guided tour inside the Nimrod, highly recommend it, the gentleman doing was highly knowledgeable, spent 30years as an air craft engineer, lovely gentleman. All In all a fantastic visit really enjoyed my time there.

Not to be missed if you are an enthusiast of military aviation in particular. You can even book a tour of the inside of the Vulcan bomber and Nimrod maritime patrol aircraft, both of which are fascinating, and the guides are very knowledgeable. Plenty of interesting military and civil aircraft and aircraft parts to see (cockpits, engines, components from crashed aircraft, ejector seats, ordnance, etc.), and extensive coverage of wartime aircraft (Allied and Axis) with examples from Norfolk too. There is also a section on the history of civil aviation at Norwich Airport. The shop is small but well stocked, and there are also plenty of second-hand aviation books to buy. There is also a café with sandwiches, rolls, crisps, cakes, fruit, soft drinks, tea and coffee.

Amazing! Fantastic opportunity to get up close to aircraft and history. Great displays with both visual and interactive features. Friendly staff. Cafe and toilets clean. Where else can you have a picnic under a Vulcan Bomber or a Nimrod. Brilliant day. Thank you.

This museum is interesting and informative with a good selection of aircraft and a number of themed exhibit rooms to wander around. There are tours of some of the larger aircraft like the Nimrod and Vulcan, you can get right up close to all of the aircraft. We had a tour of the Nimrod, a first for me, the tour was really interesting covering the history of the aircraft and its various versions and modifications and a lot about is various missions. There is also a really nice comfortable wee cafe with a good selection of snacks and beverages. All of the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, there is plenty of parking, the toilets are fresh and clean. A really good place to visit if you are in the area.
