A great pier, has a restaurant, rides, arcades, etc. During kids holidays they usually have something on - eg. During May half term at the moment they have a pirate theme with a live show and character meet and greets. Wrist band options can be good value, we have the annual pass which is great value if you pop down a few times a year!

Had a great time at Clacton Pier. The pier itself has a fun mix of rides, arcade games, and classic seaside attractions, all well-maintained and suitable for all ages. There is plenty to do around the area too, from relaxing on the beach to exploring nearby shops and taking a stroll along the promenade. Food options were varied, with everything from quick snacks to more filling meals, all reasonably priced for a seaside spot. A great all-round day out—would definitely visit again!

I spent a lot of time in Clacton as a child and wanted to come back for nostalgic reasons. I was so impressed with what they have done to the pier, they've really put a lot of money into making it a great day out. I was relieved to see that the Magic City sign remains the same. It really was a fab day out

The beach here is so soft and with so much for the family day out you can't go wrong. The high street is within mins. Some wonderful family oriented pubs with so much history you can't help but go home with some happy memories and maybe the odd crab in your children's pockets 😀

It was our very first visit to Clacton Pier, I'd rate it better than Southend, maybe because we've been to Southend too many times. The sand is clear, the beach next to the Pier is mostly clean - barring a nappy we saw 👀 - the girls loved it. Many things to do and enjoy with the kids around the Pier. My daughters only love the beach and they are not so interested in the rides or other distractions.
