Amazing Minature railway, great for all the family, young and old. They have a purpose build train for those that have mobility issues and plenty of variety of trains including stream trains. The volunteers are all very friendly. Well worth a stop and it’s very close to the M4 so you can visit on route to somewhere else. Coat Water is nice too. Best of all was escaping from the eat, it was natures AC, sat on a train riding through the trees with a cool breeze. The ride lasted about 10 minutes and it was £2 per ticket which was amazing value.

Really delightful ride, very friendly staff. Longer than most small railways. Only open on Sundays and some select holidays so plan accordingly. Set in a beautiful park which is also worth exploring, especially the walk around the lake

A traditional Model Engineering Society set up. The train ride is interesting over a very twisty turney site. We were made welcome by the volunteers who were obviously proud of their railway.

A wonderful little ride on railway in a great park! We visited while on Holiday and as soon as we saw there was a miniature railway we had to go. We found parking a bit of a struggle initially because we tried to avoid the overflow carpark but it was a bank holiday weekend after all. After parking and paying £2.20 for two hours we made our way around the lake to the railway. Once there we were greeted by a lovely looking station filled with workers, volunteers and trains! We bought our tickets from the lovely workers on the desk and the prices were amazing at only £2 each per ride. We hurried into the platform area and took our seat on the steam engine. The route is massive and it took a good 10 minutes to go round which really caught us off guard, there were multiple tunnels, crossovers and a bridge! Afterwards I showed interest in the signalbox and was invited to have a look at how it all works, and everyone was incredibly welcoming and friendly If you are in the area I would definitely recommend a visit!
