A beautiful, peaceful village with a lovely atmosphere and charming old cottages. Walking around felt like stepping back in time. We were also lucky enough to find a mulberry tree full of ripe fruit, which brought back wonderful childhood memories of climbing the tree and eating them fresh. A truly special place that we’ll definitely visit again.

A lovely place to visit and we were very lucky it was a beaufiful sunny day. Lots of walks around the grounds of the park. There are a couple of tea rooms and an ice cream shop. Parking can be difficult when it's busy but well worth it. There is also a lovely pub. Very peaceful and great for a picnic.

Lovely walks, craft centre and beautiful gardens with ponds and arboretum. Cafe's and playing field for the kids. I walk my dog around the boundaries on regular basis and enjoy a pint in The Drum Inn which was designed by Edwin Lutyens.

A super day out in beautiful surroundings, lots to see & do, something for everyone. A lovely Manor house housing a nice cafe, the Drum pub, great collection of craft workshops, lakes, woodland walks, formal gardens, children's playgrounds & a picture perfect thatched village. Well behaved dogs welcomed. The best part? There is no entrance fee so it's accessible for all to enjoy, bring a picnic or spend a little on a coffee or a meal, it's your choice 😀

Brilliant walk and day out at Cockington. Very quaint and English feeling around the area. They were playing cricket and there are lots of walkways, paths and trails. Very scenic and picturesque. Good ice cream at the cafe area. Nice area for stroll with the family.
