Enjoy and work out in this lovely, large park. A beautiful skate park is also included.

Had an amazing time with the kids and the love of my life today went exceptionally well apart from the two dogs who went through our bag to get biscuits 😂 this is excellent for dog walkers and people who are interested in conservation it also have a skateboard ramp and two parks and tennis courts

Beautiful place to visit with plenty to do and see. There are two really good play parks situated separately one for older and one for younger children. There is a fairy garden with a little library where you can sit, read and play. There is a skatepark and a football pitch. There are lots of wood carvings to spot throughout the woodland with plenty of little paths weaving through the woods, also a boardwalk leading to a small pond. There is a brand new accessible walkway/ cycle route running through the edge of the woods (be careful of cyclists approaching if you have young children or dogs running around). There are picnic benches, tennis courts, geocaching (with an online app) and even an orienteering course (you can print off a map online). Notice boards with information on local history and directions to nearby walks outside the park. I had the pleasure of meeting a lovely group of young volunteers who were doing a fantastic job of maintaining the wooded areas. There was also a local nursery school visiting the fairy garden. A busy little place used by all. There is plenty of parking with two car parks, one situated near the skate park and one next to the tennis courts. The only thing that lets this place down is the amount of dog mess left by inconsiderate dog walkers; there was a substantial amount on the brand new path which is such a shame, I don’t understand why people can’t clean up after their pets. Definitely worth a visit but mind where you step!

What a pleasure to walk round the park with the dogs, from there you can get over to the marsh land where st teilo church used to be before they dismantled it for a move to St fagans,well cared for woodland it's a real treat.

A lovely local park, woodland area, play ground, tennis courts, skate ramp and is home to Pontarddulais rugby and football club.
