Explore unlimited creative expression through free-play arts and crafts in a welcoming studio space for all ages and abilities.

ColourPlay is an innovative creative studio offering a judgment-free environment where visitors of all ages can engage in self-directed arts and crafts activities. The venue provides an extensive range of materials including paints, crayons, pastels, chalks, papers, and junk modelling supplies, allowing guests to express themselves freely without instruction or predetermined outcomes. | The studio features multiple creative zones designed to accommodate different preferences and learning styles. Visitors can paint on a communal graffiti wall, draw on a glass wall, explore textures in the messy tray, work at easel boards, paint on a freestyle floor for uninhibited creativity, or collaborate at social art tables. Junk modelling materials enable guests to construct take-home creations, while upgrade materials are available for purchase to extend creative projects at home. | ColourPlay is specifically designed as a multi-generational venue where families with children of varying ages can participate together in activities that remain relevant to all. The venue emphasizes the mental health and wellbeing benefits of artistic expression, positioning itself as a community space for free-play creativity rather than instruction-based learning. Sessions must be booked in advance, and the venue also offers monthly passes, birthday parties, and gift cards.

My kids love it here, it's the perfect place for them to be creative and messy. At home sometimes you get everything out and they only want to draw or paint for a short time but because there are so many different options and surfaces for them to play with here and no other distractions after an hour they don't want to leave and it's a great place for them to go with their friends.

This is the 3rd time I have visited with my kids, we all love it. A great little find and something different for the weekend. Laid back atmosphere where kids and adults can have fun at their own pace and be creative. I always find myself singing along to the Disney music. I would highly recommend ❤️😁

Had a fantastic time with my child today. A free space like this is so rare to find. The lady Feona couldn't have been nicer and mentioned it's a 'yes' space. There were so many arts and craft materials and we were encouraged to explore these and just be creative. My daughter loved the space, revelled in the ethos of the place, loved singing along to the disney music in the background and didn't want to leave! Thanks again. We'll be back and will highly recommend.

Absolutely loved our morning at Colour Play. Fiona was so welcoming and creates such a relaxed space where myself and my daughter could really enjoy everything that the space has to offer in our own way and enjoy such lovely time together floating from one thing to the next with so much equipment and materials to choose from. Enough laid out to inspire if required, but everything and anything could be used in any way we wanted to. I loved how nothing was wasted ither and a use could be found for anything. A beautiful experience and the perfect creative outlet. We can't wait to go back. Thank you Fiona 🙂

A fantastic space to be creative. My daughter who is 8 loved her visit. The two hours flew by and she had a wonderful time. Snacks sold too. My only advice is to take a smock or old shirt for kids to wear as the paint does go everywhere. Oh and some old socks too as there might be paint on the floor. I had some paint on my T-shirt but it washed off with no issues. All part of the fun!
