Visited Colwyn Bay on our recent camping holiday during a heatwave! We decided to book a swim and found it easier to call them, the person on the phone was so lovely and helpful, and the staff in the centre were really nice too. The changing rooms were really clean and not stifling hot like most are! The water was literally the perfect temperature, we were so relieved that it wasn't warm at the time! It was busy, but not so busy we couldn't enjoy the water. The lifeguards were really attentive and were good with a group of lads who were being rough in the water. Showers were actually quite nice, warm but not too hot, individual showers. We really enjoyed our visit and wish we were close enough to visit more often!

Very good gym, spacious with modern equipment... price for monthly membership is to high especially when you look at other local gyms with a lower monthly prescription and better equipment... I know you can join classes and use swimming pool but I never did...so price just wasn't worth it... maybe conwy council should consider monthly price for gym alone and lower the cost... they could also cut down on the high amount of staff they employ and save money..

Swimming pool was pretty good but the changing rooms were terrible. The cubicles were cramped due to every one being usrhed out of the pool all at once and having to share with little ones. There was also a lack of drainage and no member of staff had been in to squidgy the floor so my 2 year old who slipped and banged his head on the hard floor while I was trying to assist my other child getting changed - he was alright (luckily) but it could have been worse. The locks on the door were pretty rubbish also had to stop my 2 year old from constantly opening and at one point he managed to escape. They seem to have spent all the money on state of the art turn stiles to at the reception to prevent people getting in for free but have overlooked the hazardous changing rooms - which was an absolute nightmare to be frank and I wouldn't be surprised if an incident occurs in the future leading to a lawsuit. Then there was the coffee from the nearby cafe which can only be described as piping hot milk that will take a layer of skin off the roof of your mouth and more expensive than a decent coffee from almost any other cafe. Credit were it's due though the kids ice lollies were reasonably priced and a lot less than most places these days so there is that I guess.

They seem to dislike me and my friend Jack coming in in the morning, I understand that other eirias students may be causing problems, but we are consistent patrons who they recognize and we treat everything with respect, it's honestly just rude that we are forced out into the freezing cold and pouring rain in the morning, unacceptable

Really well equipped gym, great range of equipment for lots of sports (including strongman!). Lots of class options and love that the pool is included in your membership! Great value for money!
