Visited with 4 children under 6, and 4 adults. Must say, the park was quite boring. The 4D cinema was okay and lasted about 10 minutes and the indoor museum/discovery centre rarely had any of its interactive features working. The first outdoor section with the splash pad and play area was the only part that was enjoyed by the kids but it got quite busy with a lot of older kids running around. Following this was the Swan boats, the water was very dirty and swampy so it was a put off. Alot of the areas on the walk were closed off so it was a waste of time walking around following the map, no notice of areas that were not in use, kiosks were all shut on the walk too. Short train ride had the kids jumping with excitement but again, the other side of the park was shut so had to return on the train within minutes of getting off. Most areas for younger kids were not accessible, activities for older kids were widely available so not really useful for us. Overpriced food and drink, queues took forever to order. The whole place needs refurbishing. Won't be returning, rather visit a local park. 👎

Loved it here the barefoot path was fantastic and the boating lake was great fun. So much to do. I would highly recommend.

Avoid - expensive and dilapidated - far better places for less money. They’re clearly struggling and it shows. “Have you booked at reception” was the disappointing yet constant phrase of the day. £70 to get in - you’d expect quite a lot. As you walk around you see things and activities that you want to do - boats, archery, roller skating etc. Any place with common sense would allow you to pay per activity there and then as an impulse but no… the boats, the roller skating, the high ropes and numerous other activities all require you to “book at reception”. As I didn’t want to spend my day walking to and from reception we decided to do the free stuff - what little of it wasn’t closed. Even the zip line - the things my kids were most looking forward to was “closed for maintenance” which ruined that experience too. Their silly rules cost them at least £50 just from us. LET PEOPLE PAY FOR EACH ACTIVITY when THEY WANT to do that activity!!! Nobody wants their whole day prebooked with time slots. Also the train was broken making the trip between the 2 areas longer and more enjoyable. I am a man of principles so will not be returning as the systems is silly and I don’t like companies that think they can get away with rubbish and expect people to return. Lovely grounds spoilt by silly rules and lots of things being “temporary” out of order. Will be seeking a refund as the experience was absolutely not as promised or expected. First time visiting and we really enjoyed our visit. Lots of nature trails and climbing frames to keep the kids busy. The indoor softplay and museum was a great bonus too. Few negatives were the food prices were quite high (and I guess thats to be expected, and you can bring your own food) but also the 4D cinema was quite in rough shape and the glasses w were very dirty that we couldn't see out from them.

Went there on 7th Nov, most things were closed which (due to them preparing for fireworks) we weren't told about it just told they closed early today, I asked at the desk and the staff wasn't aware things were closed?! Equipment is very old and lots of broken things, could do with a complete overhaul safety nets had holes in etc. I can see this place used to be good but definitely needs money reinvestment now, lots todo there if it's all open unfortunately for us it was not.
