Very interesting Roman site. Visited on a Saturday and wandered around the museum before going on one of the free tours with a volunteer. The museum is excellent and has the first discovered Lorica on display. Would recommend the tour as it really puts the town’s ruins into perspectives and highlights where some of the finds were dug up. Overall a lovely site for a few hours of wandering around and absorbing the Roman history.

Great museum showing the history of the Romans in Corbridge. Starting in the museum you see the history of the Roman town along with artifacts. You then go outside and literally walk where the Romans did along excavated streets and walls of building, you can also go into the ruins, very informative audio guide Tip buy tickets the day before to get the best price. Well worth a visit

Fascinating place. Museum interesting items and story without being boring. Roman remains outside impressive especially when you suddenly realise you can go into and on them. Free audio guide helped and you can pick which items you want to hear about. Parking free. Toilets. Small shop. Staff friendly.

An English Heritage site. If you are into history and archaeology, then this is a great place to visit. The visitor centre has a museum of artifacts, a shop and toilets. The museum itself is interesting; but the roman ruins are a great to see. This was once a thriving roman town. A good couple of hours was spent here. Adult entrance fee was £14.

What a almost missed gem, the actual old Roman settlement of Coatbridge. It so easy to overlook here and go to Chester's instead, but don't. This place is amazing a museum, gift shop, toilets. Super friendly staff. Plus you get to walk down an actual Roman high street and feel just what it was like being in a Roman town. The are remains of the granary, old barracks, and tons of other stuff.
