Great place to visit with or without children! People there were very friendly and exceptionally helpful. Our ticket was valid for whole day. There's a good cafe next door when Ch do s hot and cold food and easily accessible from the museum. You can then go back to the museum whenever you want.

A truly fantastic place to visit but give yourself enough time to explore all of the collection. Some of the mosaics and other works in the collection are stunning. Plenty of guidance through wall panels and thankfully never overwhelming, but just enough information each time. Super friendly staff working there too, happy to answer questions.

Corinium Museum in Cirencester is a well laid out and interesting museum displaying some incredible artefacts from the neolithic right through to the early modern period. The highlight has to be Corinium as the capital of Prima Britannia. They have some incredible mosaics that display the opulence of the town at the height of the Roman empire.

Excellent museum with engaging lay outs and enthusiastic volunteers docents. The interactive exhibits for kids kept a 5 and 11 year old engaged and we all enjoyed the fabulous Roman mosaics.
