I booked this experience with my teenage son as an adventure/memorable experience for summer holidays. We were not disappointed. It was easy to book, fantastic communication and information leading up to day. We met Ben at the designated time/point to begin our adventures. You will learn plenty about the Geology and history of the local area along with climbing, abseiling and navigating underground. Ben is extremely patient, safety is paramount along with enjoying every moment of your adventure. Highly recommend you add this to your literary if you can. We will definitely be back!

Spent a great morning exploring the mines on the underground adventurer trip. Ben was a knowledgeable and experienced leader who made us fill safe at all times despite the challenges we encountered. Highly recommend this trip and will be planning to do the full day extreme trip on our next visit to Cornwall.

I did the entry-level mine tour with my 10-year-old daughter, and we both had a really enjoyable afternoon. Ben was extremely knowledgeable and brought the history of the mine to life without overwhelming us with information. The route was varied and interesting, with enough crawling, climbing and uneven ground to make it feel like a proper underground adventure. We are both fairly active, so we found it easily manageable, but it would still require a reasonable level of mobility and fitness. A very well-run, informative and enjoyable experience. We would happily return to try one of the more adventurous trips next time.

Absolutely amazing underground explorer trip today. We tackled some interesting tunnels and pushed our personal boundaries which was hugely satisfying and learned about the hard life of the old Cornish miners. Ben is a brilliant guide, so enthusiastic, knowledgeable and encouraging. Anyone with an interest in Cornish mining should try this trip. Ben, thank you for giving us an amazing underground experience!

This was a great adventure which i will never forget. Ben our guide was super friendly and had our safety in mind all the times and ensured we listened and carried out his instructions throughout our time in the mine. He was very encouraging. Wheal Hermon was vast and some of the climbs challenging ( for me at least) but it was exhilarating and scary at the same time. Ben has a vast knowledge of the Cornish mines and departed this knowledge throughout the experience. I am so glad i did this and everyone should give it a go.
