So this tour is good and is worth going. Not with a wheelchair though. It says its wheel chair friendly but it definitely is not. Staff are lovely from door staff right the way through it all. Couldn't fault them at all such a lovely team there. The street itself was interesting to see how it was all done and set up. Dont think I will look at coronation street on the tv the same again lol. The bad points are. The groups are too big that you get taken in so when your tour person is speaking you cant hear anything from the back so missed alot of information, I feel they need a microphone of some sort. Another thing is I felt it was very rushed and with having the wheelchair we was delayed as cobbles and the chair didnt get on well at all. This didnt bother our tour person and instead of waiting she continued on ahead so we missed bits due to trying to keep up. I would never of took person in the chair if I knew it was that bad but because it said wheel chair friendly I did and had massive regrets after as it was hard work. You get a recall of the last 66 yrs in a cinema bit to start with you then go your tour. Then its up the stairs to meet the star then you have an exhibition bit with plenty of reading on the walls of each cast member. Next to that is Roy's rolls you can sit in for a photo and rovers return where you get to stand behind bar an ring last orders etc. Then there is a cafe and a shop on the exit (same doors as entry) where they have lovely food and plenty gifts to choose from. Few photos attached. In one you can see how big the crowd is and speaker person is right at front reason we couldn't hear. Also u get entry at ur actual time slot you dont have to be there early. You then get your colour bands and you have about a 15 min wait till your shouted. Car park is museum next to it. Prices reasonable. Buy tickets in advance.

Absolutely fantastic experience!!! Loved the tour and seeing the sets! Loved everything about the day as a big fan of the show! And the star aspect well I was shaking like a leaf and so excited! Brilliant day!!

Me and my mum visited yesterday and it was amazing from start to finish! Even though our group was big we didn’t feel rushed around. Our tour guide was amazing and knew a lot about the show. Was so amazing walking around the set! We met “Glenda” and she was amazing! She took her time to talk to everyone! 100% would visit again

As someone who hadn’t watched Corrie for almost a decade and a wife who hadn’t never seen it what a nostalgia fest and trip down memory lane. We drove down from Aberdeen for a concert and this was the perfect place to spend an afternoon in Manchester. Our tour Guide, Lorna was so warm and friendly and was clearly as big a fan as those she was touring. Her enthusiasm shone through. Vin, the security guard was on the ball and a barrel of laughs and really cared about folk. The laughter and tears at all the memories flooding back was unbelievable. You can park next door in the Imperial War Museum carpark for next to nothing. The team are so helpful and willing to take pictures for you. The icing on the cake which we are led to believe rarely happens was a member of the cast was in the shop collecting goods for a charity event. We were able to meet and talk with him as well as grab a pic. An experience to remember. If you’re in Manchester this is a must do and make sure Lorna and Vin are on shift. They make the experience what it is.

Scott our tour guide was excellent. His knowledge of the set and stories was brilliant. Very funny man. The tour itself is highly recommended. I’m disabled and managed to get around with my walker (even if I was a bit slow)
