I've now visited Cottons Park for the third time with United Football and Basketball, alongside Havering Police, and it has honestly been a lifeline during the school holidays. The activities are fantastic for keeping children active, engaged, and having fun in a safe environment. The park itself is excellent, with a large enclosed children's playground, basketball court, skate ramps, and plenty of open fields for football, games, or a picnic. There are also lots of benches and shaded seating areas, which are perfect for parents and carers while the children play. It's conveniently located close to Romford Shopping Hall and a few shops on the main road, and there's a car park on site. One word of warning about the car park: although it says it's free, you still need to register your vehicle registration number. Unfortunately, the signage can be misleading, and some visitors have received parking tickets. If this happens, take photos of the signs and your parking notice and explain in your appeal that the information was unclear, you may be able to get the ticket cancelled. Overall, Cottons Park is a fantastic local park with great facilities for all ages. Just don't forget to register your vehicle before leaving your car!

Lovely park with plenty of facilities. It has a free parking car park but spaces are limited. It has a large area, a scateboard park, rugby field and plenty of open field for playing football.

Your little green area based nearby The Brewery, it has your standard kids apparatus (Cottons Park Play Area), outdoor gym and ball court. Not bad for letting your little ones kill a hour or two. Cotleigh Road (Stop N) would be your nearest stop if you're getting here via bus or Romford (Overground/TfL Rail/greateranglia) if trains and car (Cottons Park Car Park) for free parking. Lovely park, full of life and freshness, it's a great place for a picnic or have a relaxing walk with friends and is also well kept.

Great place for the children and for the pets. The playground is protected by fence so no pets are allowed inside and there is a special place for the pets to do their job. The park also have carpark which is paid but it's very cheep to park there. Great outdoor space.
