Beautiful house set in lovely landscaped grounds. Has very good gift shop, second hand book shop and pottery. The cafe was really nice, we sat in the courtyard with our Lurcher. The food was very tasty and the ice-cream was divine. As was the coffee. Thoroughly enjoyed our walk around the gardens and visiting the church.

We spent a wonderful three to four hours here. Parking easy and food good quality in the cafe The volunteers are absolutely amazing and so knowledgeable. This is definitely a must see. No longer under National Trust management.

Delightful house, the perfect size for a visit where you can have a good explore and feel you have seen most of it. Nice family feel, beautiful, extensive garden and good facilities including shop with plants, restaurant serving simple meals and the essential ice creams.

Grounds and cafe open to all now no longer operated by the National trust (although members can still visit the house on selected dates at no additional charge). The owners are working hard making Coughton a really relaxed and welcoming place to visit. Lovely gardens if you do want to explore them but there are also lots of options for walks on other parts of the property (and off site) including parts of both the Arden way and Millennium way and plenty of places for picnics. Great cakes, ice creams, etc. in the courtyard cafe and lots of interesting sounding events throughout the year. Highly recommend going to see for yourself.

Coughton Court is a special place that's well worth a visit. It has been run in collaboration between the National Trust and the Throckmorton family with the family now running the house and gardens so if you wish to see those and you're a National Trust member there is a small charge to do so but it's well worth it as the house is a remarkable experience. There is so much history here. The location is easy to find and access with easy on site parking. The house and gardens is a very short walk from the car park and once inside the house reveals a rich and fascinating history that's well worth experiencing. The gardens are also beautiful and the cafe on site is excellent, with especially great quality coffee I recommend. I also had the privilege to meet Magnus Throckmorton when I visited who was working hard in the cafe asking customers for feedback on everything from the coffee to their wider thoughts and in my view this was just great. The family owners personally care about this remarkable place and provide dedicated personal service to visitors alongside the super helpful staff. Highly recommend a visit.
