First time visiting this park. (Been to nearly all parks around Liverpool). Enjoyed a lovely walk, then visited the cafe. Small but has a comprehensive menu and drinks (non alcoholic). Staff pleasant and friendly, the cafe itself very clean, no complaints there. All in all had a pleasant couple of hours.

Amazing place, good for dog walking and play. Lovely and well-kept. The cafe was not my favorite and the toilets weren’t the best but apart from that, it is great.

Less welcome the 'Trifid' like Pendulous Sedge which can be imposing but has also become an invasive eye sore. October 21st:- Sorry to see the Sunken Garden look so forlorn and overrun with weeds particularly by the the aforementioned Pendulous Sedge! On a positive note, it was good to see the Tulip trees at their autumnal best while dropping their fine buttery leaves. The derelict HA HA has an intriguing 'bay' but will soon be lost to posterity-look out for the delightful Cyclamen!
