I visited this place last week after almost 10 years. The last time I came was in 2016, when entry was free. Now you need to buy a ticket at the entry but I think it’s fair because your ticket allows you to visit again as many times as you like within a year. Parking was a bit of a challenge, and I couldn’t find a space on the day I visited. However, if you park on the road next to Sainsbury’s, opposite Coventry University, you may be able to find a few paid parking spaces. It’s a fascinating place that takes you on a journey through history. Seeing the innovation, creativity, and engineering ideas from those days is truly impressive. It makes you appreciate how people designed and built so many amazing prototypes and rides long before computers and Ai existed.

Personally I thought it was brilliant. I never realised the history Coventry had within the British Car industry. Loved seeing cars i grew up that my parents and grandparents once owned. Loads of motoring memories. Loved it and I felt great value

If you want a wonderful day out, look no further than the Coventry Transport Museum. It’s a fantastic collection of British motoring history. It’s worth booking a day ahead. Parking nearby is plentiful and you are walking distance from the Cathedral to do two stops in one day.

Coventry Transport Museum was genuinely amazing! It holds some of the world’s most important cars and has a very big collection of vehicles, activities and shops. The tickets were fairly priced and the overall experience was great. The museum is also located right next to the bus station which was really helpful. It is a must go if you visit Coventry!

So very many amazingly-restored British cars, bicycles, motorcycles, busses, and military vehicles! Tickets are good for one year of returns, so if you don't have the juice to do it in one go, you can go back. The entire history of transportation in the UK is represented here. There are a number of interactive displays to keep the kids (and my husband) entertained, as well as a large play area with various wheeled contrivances the kids can shove each other around in to terrify pedestrians!
