Wonderful spectacular incredible place 🦀 pretty small, but packed to the brim with fun facts and cool merchandise! The best part was the staff, who taught us amazing info about crabs and insects that we never knew. They also have a cute outdoor garden seating area!

Was recommended to visit by a friend and honestly it’s one of my favourite museums in Kent, so much to learn and the staff are really enthusiastic, kind and fun. Plus this museum is free !! I brought a T-shirt and donated as we need to keep places like this open

This is a brilliant place/museum, wasn't on our 'to-do' list but so glad we went, one of the best things we did whilst in Margate. The young women there was so knowledgeable and friendly, made it really interesting. We loved seeing exhibits under the microscope. The exhibition boards, funny and clever like I've not seen before - a real genuine 'caring' approach, not the usual 'corporate' blag. Thank you so much, we loved it 😊🦀

I wish I could give this place 10 stars. It combines science, social commentary, humour and amazing illustrations, a win-win. It’s FREE! The best part of our trip to Margate (‘best day ever’ according to kiddo). A small joy of a place, but packed with crab fun. The staff were amazing, funny, knowledgable and total crab nerds! Most of all they chatted with my (usually shy) 4 years old all things crab and were a total delight with him. The kids worksheet is brilliant, it’s funny and silly while being brilliantly educational (much like the museum! ). Buy all the merchandise, makes donation. Long Live the Crab Museum! We’ll be back again soon!

Absolutely brilliant. The best writing I have EVER encountered in a museum. I wish they could all take this approach. If you want more whimsy, humour and fun in your life, while you learn, this is the place for you. I laughed out loud many times. It's small and fun, informative and thought provoking. It's free but we all ended up donating from appreciation.
