Wow! What an amazing place to visit. The house is absolutely beautiful and full of fascinating history, while the grounds are stunning and well worth exploring. Although the house itself may not hold the attention of very young children for long, the extensive grounds are perfect for burning off some energy, with plenty of space to walk, run and explore. We also stopped for food during our visit and were pleasantly surprised – the food was very nice and reasonably priced. Overall, Cragside is a beautiful and memorable day out, and we would definitely recommend a visit. Well worth it!

As a member of National Trust, this is one of most beautiful places I have visited so far. However, any site and places of National trust is stunning and for me has the " wow factor" and most beautiful - every time. All the places wouldn't make as beautiful without people who work there (volunteer), passionate, knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommended to get membership - as there is so many places to explore. Motto "Kindness don't cost anything"

Very nice, beautiful place!!! I recommend to everyone to see that. House have interesting with that time interior and first smart house in that century ♥️ Very rich history. Around house have beautiful walking path, but area is very big. To the some view areas can drive with car. We was there end of May, when all around has bloomed, specially rhododendrons. ♥️ House is opened short time, 11am till 4pm, garden till 5 pm. Iff want to see all and walking in all walking path, then recommended coming from morning time. Staff is very friendly, explain where to go and what to see and answer on your questions. All areas around and inside, is clean and tidy up. Tickets we bought to the entrance. This is place for all day - im 💯% recommended to visit it! ♥️😍👍

Had a absolutely fabulous afternoon at this beautiful National Trust property. The rodedendruns were not quite out we have been told by staff another week or so and the gardens would be bursting with colour. The house is spectacular and the gardens are like a magical wonderful of paths and rock gardens. Lots of pine tree too. The cafe is next to the beautiful lake and a coffee and cake with views like this is a really treat. The gift shop worth a visit with plants and garden ornaments also on sale along with gifts and little souvenirs to take home as a reminder of what will be a fantastic visit.
