Didn't visit the island but saw it as I ran around the whole park and then walked the river trail. Very beautiful and hard to believe it was so close Heathrow. For those doing the LOOP, the trail's alternative route goes the through the park. Highly recommended as opposed to taking the main route through streets, busy roads and via Hounslow Heath. While on this trail. Recommend the detour to the Feltham Circles and their interesting accoustic effect

A quiet, beautifully maintained park with dedicated volunteer gardeners who clearly put a great deal of care into keeping it looking its best. Their hard work is truly appreciated and makes this place a pleasure to visit. I hope to come back again, as there’s so much to learn from nature here. It’s a wonderful place to slow down, observe, and appreciate the natural world.

Fantastic little spot in the middle of a neighborhood. A secret treasure in London. It takes five minutes to drive to Hounslow High Street. The park, which Londoners adore for its natural beauty, can be completed in an hour. Lovely walkways, a mobile coffee truck, and volunteers who keep everything really clean and organized. History of the shot tower is best thing to know My favorite spots to be are the river and the beautiful woodland, which I have been visiting intermittently for years. At Crane Park, I also conduct a weekly parkrun.
