Fascinating place to visit. It's free to go in and look around, it's not a massive site so only takes an hour to go round and read all the information boards. Parking is free but there is not a carpark so only a few spaces at the front entrance

A hidden gem in the middle of the Staffordshire countryside, only a stones throw from the main JCB plant and the market town of Uttoxeter, Croxden Abbey is a significant abbey ruin that is well worth a visit, only a couple of parking bays but this is not a busy site. If you like history and religion the Croxden is the place for you, free entry and a delightful stroll, it is well kept and beautiful to behold, if your in the area, drop by, you won’t regret it.

Croxden Abbey is a little gem situated outside of Uttoxeter. Free to go in and just a beautiful place if you enjoy this sort of thing. Great picture opportunity if you ride a bike also

Hidden gem not from from Uttoxeter a few narrow lanes to get to it and only a couple of parking spots outside. However the ruins are extensive and impressive with information boards dotted around. Interesting place to visit for a leg stretch or short walk etc. Free of charge and a very old grave yard and church a 100m away to make it even more interesting.

Interesting Abbey ruins on private property. Admission, free. Some ruins of castles which are in poorer state than this one, ask admission. The ruins give plenty of nice photos. Especially on a sunny day. There are not many parking spots. To take the most out of this scenic place for photos, you'll need a maximum of 1/2 hour.
