I recently visited this animal farm and found it to be quite small, which was a bit disappointing. The park itself is pleasant and well-suited for young children, with a nice, relaxed atmosphere. However, one of the main reasons for my visit was to see the alpacas that were shown in photos online, and unfortunately, they were not there during my visit. It would really help if the farm updated their website more regularly with accurate information about the animals currently available. This would set better expectations for visitors and avoid disappointment. While the park is enjoyable for families with small kids, I left feeling let down that the alpacas shown in the pictures were not present.

We visited the Crystal Palace Park Farm by Capel Manor with the kids and had a really nice experience. It’s a small but lovely farm area with a variety of animals, perfect for younger children to see up close. The setting is calm and tucked away within the park, which makes it feel peaceful and enjoyable. We did arrive quite late as the farm closes around 3:30pm, so we only had about 10 minutes inside. However, the staff were really friendly and kindly allowed us an extra 5 minutes, which we really appreciated. Although it’s not a full-day attraction on its own, it’s a great addition when visiting Crystal Palace Park, especially alongside the play area which kids love. Overall, a lovely little spot for children who enjoy animals 🐐✨

During my visit I do understand they were going through renovations so the experience wasn’t as full as we hoped. But son had a good time exploring the farm

Cute little farm. Good for a day out in the park and for small children. I bought my 1yr old and she loved it. Not much animals but as expected. Animals looked well looked after and clean. Wish there was more information about the animals as most enclosures didn’t have what the animals were. Hand washing area was well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful. Few picnic tables so able to sit down and eat. Buggy accessible maybe harder to navigate with wheelchair as on a hill.

This is a great little farm for teaching toddlers about animals. It was very quiet during our visit on a Thursday around noon. The whole farm is buggy accessible and easy to navigate. We parked our buggy by the gate with no issues. My two year old loved the Shetland Ponies and lambs. On the upper level you’ll find the small furries. We saw a gorgeous black cat, rabbits, Guinea pigs and a tortoise munching on some lettuce. The wash trough is set low enough for toddlers to reach. There’s a box to leave a donation with no pressure.
