After a night in Belfast, my husband and I decided to skip breakfast to visit C.S.Lewis park. Lewis is the favorite author of our pastor on the states & one whose books I love sharing with our grandkids. It seemed wrong to leave Belfast without visiting. This is an interesting place honoring a very impressive man. There's a little bit of history told on the back of the wardrobe but other than that if you've seen the pictures, you've seen the park. With that said, I still recommend walking though and reading everything you can. It's just something special to experience for yourself & it doesn't take much time!

An enjoyable half hour spotting characters and the great man himself! If you love Narnia, this is a must!

We had CS Lewis Square recommended to us and as fans of the Narnia stories so really wanted to see it. We were disappointed that our Hop-on Hop-off bus tour did not go by there, so we opted to take an Uber from Stop 6 (St. George's Market) over to there, just a 10 minute ride. There are about 9 different statues for you to find as you walk around the paths.

Not much to see here except the sculpture trail, starting at the square with C.S.Lewis opening the wardrobe, there are then a bunch of sculptures including Mr Tumnus, the White Witch, Maugrim, the robin, the beavers, Aslan and the Stone Table. There is also a Narnia-themed mural on the side of an adjoining building. The sculpture of Aslan is truly impressive.

Thoroughly pleasant space to spend an hour sitting eating my lunch in the sunshine beneath Aslan’s statue! The sculptures are fun - would be great to come back with kids for a wander.
