Oh yes a lovely little manageable beach without all the hassle of parking a long distance away and trudging down with all your kit , parking so close to the beach it’s literally within walking distance, great walks along the shore , picnic benches and benches dotted along the paths . Safe children’s play area at the carpark side of the beach . Clear shallow waters albeit very cold early May when we visited . This beach is very much worth a visit.
Stunning little beach with lovely crystal clear waters albeit very cold early May when we visited , there is a coastal path with benches and picnic tables , limited but seems to be ample parking beside the golf club , no public toilets ( there is an old toilets building but is long since out of use) the beach slightly slopes into the sea with a mixture of stones and sand , there is a children’s play area which is walled and safe . Nice walks along the shoreline from here
Lovely walk along beach beach is beautiful small stretch but can't wait to go back in summer ...didnt know it was there and iv lived in n.ireland all my life lol...coffee van in car park and a wee cafe just a short walk from car park ..Lovely day .
It's in a sheltered bay so pleasant waters for swimming in. However the beach is very rocky rather than sand for the vast majority of it. At the Northern end there is a free car park, toilet and play area (reviewed and photographed separately)
'Over under blue lies a true fairy land where the sea washes over the shingle and sand' Lovely place. So relaxing. Plenty of benches to relax looking out to sea along seafront. Beach itself is more shingle than anything but still easy to walk along. Good park for kids.
