Lovely location for a photoshoot. This was a prom shoot and the grounds and building made it perfect for a variety of shots.

Delightful place with walks, woods, lakes and the museum. We were there to walk the dog, she thoroughly enjoyed exploring the grounds. She also enjoyed the cafe area, we were able to sit outside for a light lunch. The cakes looked delicious, saving those treats for next time. Parking is reasonable, quite a few shady places.

Went to watch the sun rise, and it didnt disappoint. The veiw was amazing. So peaceful and serene. The vantage point from the benchs at the top of the hill is perfect.

Perfect day for a family day out all weathers. Free admission, informative museum, interesting displays. Good for children to learn about lifestyles /living conditions from the past. There’s a cafe and a pub there as well. Good size park with a little lake to observe the ducks and swans. Parking for 2 hours just under £2. Card payment only.

It's a lovely place with a well laid out with very reasonable, affordable parking. I wondered slowly, taking (exterior) photos of this most impressive Hall. During my exploring of these impressive grounds, I found very old trees, three large, established ponds with friendly wildlife. All the guests I encountered were also friendly. The wildlife is obviously so use to humans interaction that I was able to take close-up photos of the chicks of a pair of swans. Long reaching views (of Doncaster) can be seen from the rear of the Hall. My intention (initially) was to just check out the grounds for a future visit with my friend and her elderly dog and not to stay so long. But, I enjoyed my time so much, that I didn't want to leave. I believe other guests were as chilled as I was. I'm really looking forward to my next visit.
