Had a lovely visit to Dalkeith Museum. It's small, FREE, filled with lots of fascinating information and the volunteers were happy to help. I spent 40 minutes having a look around, there was a cool old shop and interesting video with quite a few other displays. There's a couple of activities for children as well. Worth a pop in if you're in Dalkeith, Dalkeith country park close by and quite a few wee coffee shops on the high street. Will definetely be back for another visit.
