2 of us visoted Danes Dyke at 3.30pm on weekeday in early August. Plenty of parking and not too expensive considering all the walking you can do from here both North and South Coast walks are easy to access from Danes Dyke Beach which is a 10 minute walk down the gravel path from the car park (go right from where the main signs are in the car park with the toilets). Such an atmospheric place with significant history. The beach is lively and fairly secluded.

Really good place to visit. Nice nature walk and secluded beach. Good place to spend a full day. Short distance to drive from Thornwick bay and Bridlington.

Not for anyone with mobility issues. My husband stayed in the car park and had a coffee. The woods are mature and lush, the path is steep and a bit slippery after the rain but the walk is well worth it. The sea suddenly appears through the trees and the slope runs down to a gap which opens up onto the most stunning white boulder beach. The tide was still receeding so I didn't get to see the sand but wow what a gorgeous place.

Love this nature reserve, so many different ways to walk.. can be easy or can make it challenging for yourself. Brilliant for all ages. I loved it here as a kid. But today brought my husband and puppy and my puppy loved it.

Beautiful woodland setting with lots of marked walks and a fairly steep but paved path to a picturesque bay. Would recommend good shoes because the beach has large stones to cross before you get to the sandy part.
