Picnicked beside the River Lyd below Brat Tor. Easy access even with a baby in a pushchair. Beautifully quiet and dog friendly. The tor is well worth the climb, but be aware it's hard going unless you're physically fit.

There are toilets which i passed on the way but I wanted to park away from everyone although I did stop in a spot where an ice cream van was parked, had a lovely walk on the moors. Highly recommend

It’s a great place to connect with nature, take a pause and breathe fresh air. The views here are exceptional and the countryside is scenic! I would definitely recommend exploring Dartmoor National Park, there’s miles of countryside to explore.

Did the 13 Tors day hike for Marie Curie Charity. Amazing views and people! Just need to prep gear, snacks, take all your rubhish with you, observe the byelaws and remember to use toilets!
