Travelled down from Bristol area today to visit for a tiger experience for myself and my mum! It was amazing! The staff are super friendly and helpful! Huge thank you for Izzy for helping me out today in terms of first aid! She was super friendly and gentle! The enclosures are designed great with areas for animals to go if they don't want to be seen. The grounds cat was adorable too! So happy with today! Would definitely come back! Hopefully Napo will be out next time🐆

I agree with another person, more of a conservation area rather than a zoo, but they are doing a great job, so supporting them is a great thing to do. The place is full of volunteers and they are very friendly - some very knowledgeable! Staff are also very friendly. People complain about some enclosures are overgrown (like it would be in the wild) and about not seeing animals (they have the right to have peace away from people if they choose) These two things actually show how much care is put into looking after the animals.

It's a beautiful, small zoo that's runs off charity donations. The staff are wonderful and are enthusiastic to pass on as much information about the animals as possible. We spent a good few hours with the children taking in as much as possible and it was worth the money entering. Many if the animals are endangered but they look extremely well cared for. Would highly recommend anyone of any age to visit. To support this cause is worth every penny

First time visiting the zoo today and what an experience! All animals on display are very well looked after and the keepers are very knowledgeable! Dragan was out in all his glory today when we visited!

I always love going to Dartmoor Zoo. The animals are all well cared for and there's work going on to improve the zoo all the time. The talks about the animals are great for adults and children. The restaurant is good and has a 5 (top score) for hygiene. It's especially good at the moment as you can get a year access pass for the cost of one visit. It's a small zoo, it's great to be able to get around it easily within the opening times.
