The only true urban forest in Glasgow, it sits on the south side of the River Kelvin. If you fancy well manicured parks, this place is not for you, but if you don’t mind a bit of mud on the sole of your shoes, then this is paradise for you and your four legged friends.

A lovely park very popular with dog walkers. There are no childrens play areas but plenty of woods to explore and wildlife to see. Some amazing views of the city to be had also. Very easy to spend several hours wandering round the many paths that criss cross the park taking in various locations from ponds and pastures to the river kelvin.

Love coming here to walk the dog, it’s one of the few places we can let him off the lead as there are no roads anywhere near the park. Although he does occasionally get spooked by the crashing at the dump next door. This is a lovely walk with large grassy areas to frisbee a dog, or little Forrest paths to get lost in.
